Amazon’s popular website Endless.com will finally come to an
end come September 27. The site will now merge into Amazon Inc. Endless.com has
been the largest online retailer in the world. The web site will now be a part
of the main web site.
The new web site will have the address: Amazon.com/Fashion. The
news has been flashing on the index page of the current web site Endless.com. The
changes will come into effect on September 27. A major overhaul is expected as
the old site merges in the main web site of Amazon.
Endless.com was launched around five years ago in 2007. The site
was a specialty for women’s accessories such as handbags, shoes, etc. The
customers will still be able to deal on the site as usual starting from the
next week where there will be watches and jewelry on the main site of Amazon.
Amazon is seriously looking to expand their business in the field
of apparel as well as fashion. It will mean an automatic fight between the two
big rivals – Amazon and EBay Inc. EBay Inc. has found great success as an
online fashion outlet.
Only time will tell if Amazon’s new decision works in their
favor!
