BlackBerry Z10 not so fine to pose threat to Google and Apple

After a long wait, the BlackBerry Smartphones are finally out. However, for some people, there is not much to cheer about the phone. On the other hand, some people have appreciated the Smartphone. In short, there is a mixed bag for this BlackBerry Smartphone.
According to the analysts, the phone does have good looks. But, it is not really strong enough to pose any kind of threat to the devices that run on Google’s Android as well as the iPhones.

The BlackBerry Z10 has been said to be one last chance and the popular phrase associated with this launch is “make or break”. But the efforts on the part of the company might prove to be futile as they have come too late.
Though there is the OS that has been well appreciated, as well as a fresh new user interface, in the days of ever changing technology, BlackBerry certainly has been a latecomer.
Will BlackBerry be able to catch up with its other competitors? Only time will tell.

Facebook’s new Graph Search tool – a challenge to Google?

So what Facebook doesn't still have a phone of its own, it has its very own Graph Search tool. Experts and analysts feel that the new tool from Facebook might be soon able to make it more revenue. But what about the extremely popular search engine – Google? Has Facebook encroached on the areas dominated by Google or will it, in the future?
It would be too premature to comment on what difference it will make on Google’s search. But one thing is for sure, whatever is the outcome, it won’t affect Google soon. The Facebook stock might also come under a bit of pressure, mainly from the investors who were expecting a stronger announcement like a Facebook Phone.

There is lot Facebook can search through the bigger search bar now. People will be able to find their past images, the hotels friends and family visited, the films that their friends enjoy and even possible dates too. It is more of a comprehensive search from Facebook. But what will happen if Facebook remains clueless about the queries?
Well, Microsoft’s Bing is there for the rescue. It will pull in the normal search results in that case.

Apple is likely to bring in $500 iPhones

Apple – the technology giant is working on iPhones that would cost as low as only $500. It is expected to be a cheaper version of the current iPhone in the market. The iPhone is likely to release by the middle of 2013. There are reports doing the rounds of the various media that Apple is pretty serious about this new iPhone.
Image: Apple.com
There are a couple of reasons why the Smartphone may cost that low. The first reason is that the material used in the new iPhone would be polycarbonate plastic, which will bring the cost down as the input costs are low. That is why there should be a lot of demand from those people who want to purchase an iPhone, but cannot due to the high costs.
Some experts in the industry are terming the new iPhone in the wings as ‘iPhone Mini’. The size of the iPhone will be a tad smaller than the current one, which will also help in reducing the price. However, it is interesting to note that Apple has not made any comments on these reports. So, these are all guessing games at the moment.
