The Samsung Galaxy S III has a superior display than iPhone 5

Now that both Samsung Galaxy S III and iPhone 5 are there to be compared, which do you think has the better display? According to one expert in this industry, the Samsung Galaxy S III scores over the iPhone 5, when it comes to the display. However, ‘better’ is a subjective term and so the conclusions can vary.
Image: ibnlive.in.com
According to the expert, the display of the Samsung Galaxy S III happens to be a bit thinner and is blessed with an improved color gamut. The key rival to Samsung Galaxy S III is the iPhone 5 and it looks like the Samsung gadget has easily overtaken the Apple phone.
It should be noted that the iPhone 5 has a 4” display, which is an improvement over it comparatively smaller iPhone 4S display. In spite of this, the Samsung has something more up its sleeve in the form of better specifications for the display screen.

The above findings were observed by Vinita Jakhanwal, who is the director for small and medium displays, IHS iSuppli. According to her the differences are quite subtle and might not even matter to the users. She further added that the display of the iPhone 5 was about 1.5 mm in thickness while that of the Galaxy S III was only 1.1 mm.
