The mobile handset manufacturing company, Micromax will now
have another arm to their production. The company will now also start
manufacturing LED TV sets. There will be a range of options to choose from as
the sets will cost anywhere from Rs. 15,990 to Rs. 1, 29,990. That will be
something good to choose from for the customers.

he company has already invested about Rs. 100 crores for the
new production. However, this investment will be for the next three years at
least. With this, they are planning to capture no less than 8% of the market
share in the next couple of years. Micromax has set up a manufacturing unit in
a whopping one-lakh-square-feet area.
This manufacturing center is spread across five acres of
land. The unit will have a production capacity 2000 TV sets on a daily basis. Apart
from this, the company has also come up with a home theater system that comes with
5.1 surround sound speakers.
