Asus is busy bringing out the updates for the Transformer
Prime. The update includes the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The Transformer
Infinity is also ready for getting updates. However, it will get the updates
after the Prime gets its share. The update includes the Google Now and will
also help in improving the performance with Project Butler.
To see if the update is available or not, move towards the “About”
part that you should find in the settings. Then select the “Check for firmware
updates”. If you want to download and install the update, see to it that the
tab is charged not less than 80% for a safe and secure installation process.

The Asus Transformer Prime made its way to India in March
with a price tag of Rs. 50,000. However, as far as the Indian model is
concerned, it comes only with Wi-Fi. It at the moment looks difficult for the company
to launch a 3G adaptation.
Some of the highlights of the device are as follows:
- The tab uses a 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor – it is the first ever quad-core CPU for any handheld device.
- It comes with 1GB RAM.
- The gadget has a 10-inch LED backlit display and a resolution of 1280 x 800.
- There is the 8MP camera on the back.
- Memory is expandable up to 32GB with MicroSD card.
- For seamless data transfer, there is the Bluetooth with A2DP as well as a USB 2.0
