Nexus manufacturer Asus will sell 32GB variant of Nexus 7

Google had started selling the 16GB variant of the Nexus 7 – their high-end tablet. Asus, the manufacturer of the tablets for Google has announced that they will be selling the 32GB variant of Nexus 7 in India. This announcement has come barely a week after Google began selling their tabs in India.

There had been longer delays, wrong information being circulated and goof-ups. For all these days and weeks only the 16GB variant of the tablet was available, especially in India. Now very soon even the 32GB variant will also be available.
Asus manufactures the Nexus 7 tablets for Google. The device was released all across the world in the month of July last year. Until it saw the Indian shores, November had already dawned. However, the gadget was taken off the market almost immediately.
The reason? The extremely high price. Nexus 7 was priced at Rs. 19,981, which is almost similar to the cost of the iPad Mini. Through the Google Play Store, Google had started the sales of the tablet. The price of a 16GB variant with only Wi-Fi comes at a decent price of Rs. 15,999.
This automatically makes it one of the best tablets on budget in India. The good thing is that it comes close on the heels of Mr. EricSchmidt’s visit to India, who is the chairman of the internet giant.

Google Nexus 7 launched in India

Google has launched the Google Nexus 7 in India finally. The gadget is currently available on the Google Play Store. One of the features of the Nexus 7 is the lightweight of the device and that become its identity. The tablet comes with 7” IPS LCD touchscreen.
It runs on Android Jelly Bean OS. One of the biggest drawbacks of the tab is that there is only Wi-Fi support in it and there’s no room for the GSM slot. The company has brought out two versions of the tab – one is the 16GB flash memory, while the other is the 32GB variant.

There is the 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 NVIDIA Tegra processor that powers the tablet. It is accompanied by 1GB of RAM. So, these two put together can easily make your browsing a unique and superfast experience. The tab is supported by 4,325 mAh battery. With the front-end camera, video calling becomes all that easier.
Google Now:
Google Now is one of the most informative features of the tab. It gives you a full picture of the day’s weather, the status of your flights, how much traffic you are likely to face, etc.
The tablet is available on the Google Playstore and you can buy it at a price of Rs. 15,999. That is the cost of the 16GB variant. The gadget gets shipped in one week at the most. The rollout is expected to start by as early as the first week of the next month.

The gadget will give a tough competition to Apple’s iPad. That is not all. The cool gadget from Google would also make life difficult for the Kindle Fire from the house of Amazon. To give competition to these two companies, Google might have a competitive price tag.
The Google Nexus 7 will come in two storage options – 8GB and 16GB. It is expected that the 8GB storage device might cost around $199 and the 16GB storage model will have a price tag of $249. The device will have quality hardware to add to the positive side of the features.
The dimensions of the tablet are 198.5mm X 120mm X 10.5mm and has a weight of 340 g. The tablet will run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
